Sales Agreement

Please Read In Full Before Reaching Out About Purchasing A Goat!

ALL DEPOSITS/FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

All sales are final. If for any reason a sale is canceled, NO money will be refunded. Prices are subject to change at our discretion (and likely will as a doe ages, shows, milks, and LA’s), however if we do increase a price, we try to make sure it is competed before the doe is bred for her next freshening. We will never do a change last minute. As the breeder/owner of these animals, we do reserve the right to keep any animal born.  Please note that Nigerians are a colored breed and kids rejected by buyer due to coat pattern/eye color is considered a canceled order.

Deposits and Payment
We sell on a first come first serve basis. We will hold registration papers until personal checks clear the bank. Buyer is responsible for any and all bank fees assessed for bad checks. Buyer is responsible for all health certificates, veterinary exams, blood tests, and other costs associated with veterinary fees.

Leaving Our Property

Unfortunately, once an animal leaves our property, we can not guarantee its health and we cannot take it back due to biosecurity hazards. Once an animal leaves, too much is out of our control and we cannot know how you cared for the animal to make a replacement. The contract signature is an agreement that you accept the animal in the condition that it is in. We always recommend quarantining once you buy an animal from anyone, and getting a fecal done to be sure there wasn’t a worm bloom from the stress of moving. As a farther biosecurity precaution, we do not allow “farm visits”. CVIs are required for all livestock crossing state lines per USDA guidelines. As the buyer, it is your responsibility to have this when picking up and transporting your animal. We will arrange this with our Vet pre-pickup. You are responsible for the costs of a CVI, and that cost can vary. Some states do require testing for the CVI which may cause additional costs.

Stud Service

We unfortunately do not offer Stud Service with any of our bucks. This is for the health and safety of our goats, to prevent them catching any communicable diseases/parasites.

Taking Your Kid Home
Limited delivery can be arranged to the local shows and events we attend, with or without additional costs. We will provide ADGA registration papers unless purchased as a pet, which in that case there will NO registration papers/rights given. All DNA responsibilities for sold kids are left to the buyer. All breeding bucks born after 01/01/2024 on our property have DNA on file.

Success of Sold Animals

We do not make any guarantees on the success or conformational maturation of animals that we sell. We also cannot make any guarantees as to the height of the animal. After they leave our care it is up to the new owner to raise and maintain that animal. We are not responsible for the success of animals we sell, rather that is up to the owner to ascertain. After all, herd management is due half the credit of a successful competitive animal. We are always willing to offer advice and to assist in any way we can in order to assure the wellbeing of that animal.

As the breeder/owner of these animals, we do reserve the right to keep any animal born.

Upon purchasing a goat from us, it is understood that you are agreeing to the above statements.
